'School of Us' brings Bedford's first cycle cinema

So while we were busy in Peterborough running our big cycle cinema, we thought we'd make life a little more complicated by doing a simultaneous cinema in Bedford.. and what a wonderful evening in turned out to be in Castle Bailey Gardens at the Open Air Cycle Powered Cinema! The School of US is another project bought to life by the ever dynamic Kayte Judge and supported the finale of a weeks worth of activity by Bedford Borough Council to mark European Mobility Week. It was very generously sponsored by the transport department at the council as well as The Lane, Luscious Juice bar, The Bedford Clanger and We Are Bedford.

The evening was a great success with audience numbers over and lots of volunteers to cycle to keep the cinema running. Thanks to Louise at Ecotales for helping run the event and Graham at Graham Photographer for supplying all the pictures above.
