An Accidental Secret Cinema
What an absolutely beautiful evening ‘under the arches’ with the Free Film Festival turned out to be! After a last minute change of plan, we moved the event five minutes down the road to another railway arch. As it turned out, the new venue was visually a more interesting and dark enough for a screening. Luckily, everyone managed to follow the clues before turning up quite bemused to what became an 'accidental secret cinema'!
The evening started with a few questionable 7” vinyl records all powered by bicycles followed by a few brilliant songs by ‘Curly Joe’ and friend. An eclectic mix of short films including ‘The Money Shot’ and the very poignant 'I Love Peckham - After the Riots' finished the evening perfectly.
